Adam Scott - Compact Medical's COO

Compact Medical is proud to announce that our Chief Operating Officer, Adam Scott, has been named to Purdue University's 38 by 38 — an honor recognizing 38 of the College of Engineering's most accomplished young alumni, all 38 years of age or younger.

Presented by Purdue Engineering, the 38 by 38 Award celebrates alumni who have demonstrated a clearly accelerated trajectory of professional success and a meaningful, measurable impact in their fields. The award draws its inspiration from Purdue alumnus Neil Armstrong, who was just 38 years old when he became the first person to set foot on the moon. Honorees are selected as trailblazers in their respective domains — leaders driving positive change with every giant leap they take.

A Purdue Engineering graduate [BS BME '18], Adam has been instrumental in Compact Medical's growth, guiding product development, operations, manufacturing, and execution as the company brings the ButterflyBVM to lifesavers across the country. His leadership has helped transform a bold idea — smarter, safer manual ventilation — into an FDA-cleared device now reaching EMS and hospital teams nationwide.

We couldn't be more proud to see Adam recognized among this exceptional class of Purdue innovators. Please join us in congratulating him on this well-deserved honor!
